Environmental Policy
It is the policy of Carrot Circular to respect the local Environment and to be committed to and responsible for the Environmental performance of the company, and to communicate this policy to all persons working for or on behalf of the company, and any interested parties.
The company strives to comply, at minimum, with all regulatory and legislative requirements, and to this end this policy is reviewed and updated, as required, and at a minimum annually, at the company’s Management Review meeting.
The company’s Environmental Management System has been developed in accordance with the principles of BS EN ISO 14001:2015 and is implemented based on continual improvement and prevention of pollution and is regularly audited to determine its effectiveness.
Senior management review the effectiveness of the company’s Environmental Management System, policy, goals, and objectives on a regular basis and review the overall environmental performance annually.
Senior Management ensure that all employees at appropriate levels throughout the company are trained and developed to understand, implement, maintain, and improve the environmental objectives established by senior management at the company’s Management Review meeting, and further detailed and monitored in specific functional environmental management programmes, to achieve the company’s Environmental policy, goals, and objectives.
Where possible, the company reduce, re-use and recycle all materials to minimise waste, and use environmentally responsible suppliers and sub-contractors to minimise the use of polluting releases and energy as efficiently as possible.
The company ensures that travel on its behalf is necessary, by public transport if possible and plans journeys to minimise environmental impact.

Health & Safety Policy
The following is a statement of Carrot Circular’s general Health & Safety policy in accordance with section 2 of the Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 taking into account the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 2003.
It is our policy to ensure so far as is reasonable and practicable the health, safety and welfare of all the employees working for the company or other persons who may be affected by our undertakings.
We acknowledge that the key to successful health & safety management requires an effective policy, organisation and arrangements, which reflect the commitment of senior management. To sustain that commitment we will continually measure, monitor and revise where necessary an annual plan to ensure that health and safety standards are adequate.
The Directors will implement the company’s health and safety policy and recommend any changes to meet new circumstances. The instructions will then be carried out through the normal chain of management. The company recognises that successful health and safety management contributes to successful business performance and will allocate adequate finances and resources accordingly.
It is the policy of the management to do all that is reasonable and practicable to prevent personal injury and damage to property. Also, the company aims to protect everyone, including all visitors and members of the public, in so far as they come into contact with the company or its activities, from any foreseeable hazard or danger.
All employees have duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and they are informed of their personal responsibilities to take due care for the health and safety of themselves and to ensure that they do not endanger other persons by their acts or omissions. They are also informed that they must co-operate with the company in order that it can comply with the legal requirements placed upon it and in the implementation of this policy.
The company will ensure continued consultation with the workforce to enable all viewpoints and recommendations to be discussed at regular intervals.
The company will ensure a systematic approach to identifying hazards, assessing the risk, determining suitable and sufficient control measures and informing employees of the correct procedure.
The company will provide, so far as it is reasonably practicable, safe places and systems of work, and ensure that appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision is given.

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy
Carrot Circular is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers, and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.
The organisation - in providing goods and/or services and/or facilities - is also committed against unlawful discrimination of customers or the public
The policy’s purpose is to:

Monitoring will also include assessing how the equality policy, and any supporting action plan, are working in practice, reviewing them annually, and considering and taking action to address any issues
The equality policy is fully supported by senior management and an appropriate grievance procedure is in place, generally via line management. Use of this procedure does not affect an employee’s right to make a claim to an employment tribunal within three months of the alleged discrimination.

Information Security Policy
It is the established policy of Carrot Circular to operate within the requirements of a documented Information Security Policy statement to comply with all statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements, and, to protect the interests, property and information of the company, and of its clients and employees, against threats or loss.
In pursuance of this policy its stated requirements have been implemented together with the specified requirements of the company’s associated information security and computer system access management work instructions.
The purpose of this Information Security Policy statement is to describe how security is implemented, to give guidance to our employees whose actions can affect the confidentiality and integrity of the business, its product and services, and, to illustrate the overall commitment to security issues within our company.
This Information Security Policy statement is supported by detailed process and operating procedures, which define our company’s security activities.
It is maintained by audit and review, in order to provide effective assurance that all aspects of company, employee and customer specified security requirements are being implemented.
It is company policy to ensure that the use of documents, computers, mobile computing, mobile communications, mail, voice mail, voice communications in general, multimedia, postal services and fax machines must be controlled to prevent unauthorized use and to reduce security risks.
All employees have a responsibility not to compromise the company, e.g. by sending defamatory or harassing electronic mail, or by making unauthorized purchases, and must also be aware that the confidentiality and integrity of information transmitted by E-mail or facsimile may not be guaranteed.
Access by employees to the Internet is restricted to business use only.
Senior Management is responsible for managing information security and will ensure that all employees are trained to understand, implement and maintain the security objectives set out in this Security Policy.
We publish this policy statement in the knowledge that the security of our company and its employees, products and client services, and our on-going good security reputation, depend upon the everyday security awareness and actions of all our employees, both on-site and off-site.
I am wholly committed to this Information Security Policy, and hereby state that it is the responsibility of every individual employee of the company to ensure that all security plans, standards, procedures, work instructions and actions fully meet with agreed company and customer requirements.

Quality Policy
Carrot Circular believes that its market expects a continually improving service. We aim to continually improve the service we provide to meet our clients’ requirements and to produce finished work that we can justifiably be proud of.
We aim to achieve the above by implementing a management system that follows the principles of the international standard of good practice BS EN ISO 9001. It also includes a commitment to meet the requirements of our clients, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. We also aim to continually development of the system and help to ensure it remains effective.
Only by providing an outstanding service and product quality will we achieve our aims of long-term success and sustained improvements.
All personnel are responsible for the quality of their work. Carrot Circular provides training and has established systems to assist all personnel to achieve the standards required. While we endeavour to produce work and offer a service that we can be proud of, if a customer complains, we are committed to investigating and will do our best to put right all justified complaints.
The policy, organisation, and procedures necessary to achieve the required standards are described in our Quality Management System.
Senior Management is responsible for monitoring the quality system and its implementation, status and effectiveness.
The objectives of this company are set out in the Business Plan. Objectives for individual jobs are to carry out the work to the satisfaction of the client and in accordance with the contract as agreed.
